I remember clipping an illustration of this painting from a magazine while making an collection of favorite paintings for an art class project. That would have been about 1958 — I was in seventh grade.

I love his work so much. I was fortunate to see several of his paintings on display in my travels. I’m not sure whether it was in London or elsewhere.
