I see at least a blue bird among all these glorious colors that at first glance represent nothing but colors. Purple is a lovely color.

  3. I see Haydn was around 27 when he composed this. According to Wikipedia: “Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 1 in D major, Hoboken I/1, was written in 1759 in Dolní Lukavice, while in the service of Count Morzin. While it is reliably known that No. 1 was written in 1759, H. C. Robbins Landon cannot rule out that No. 2, No. 4, or both could have been composed in 1757 or 1758.”

If I am honest, I am struggling with this image. Your posts are a great art education though, much appreciated.

    1. I hear you, Omar. I saved this image for the color palette in the upper 2/3s of the painting to use later with watercolor of a mountain scene. Thanks for visiting and adding to the conversation. 🙂🌻
