“…Swiss author Jacques Chessex wrote, “Here, a kind of unbelievable meditation on the sublimation of things occurs and develops into fullness, as the space within the painting brings forth a delightful, sweet spectacle. While no human figure appears in it, the painting coalesces into a kind of highly concentrated power that connects in our minds with aspects of humanity, with the memories of the artist, and all of his past experiences of both the ordinary and of beauty in its perfection” (Jacques Chessex, Zao Wou-Ki, Galerie Jan Krugier, Genève, 1990).

My dear, I did get in touch with the people at the donations link. All of the information is supposed to be correct. If you’d be good enough to try it one more time, using the live link at post bottom (apparently there’s more than one “Ugift” site), and making sure the letters in the code are entered in upper rather than lower case ~ and just let me know if it works to get you to my account page ~ I’d be most grateful!

Thank you, Ana. I just tried again and still get the “invalid code” message. 😩 I have a screenshot if that would be helpful. All caps and tried with and without the # sign, both copy and paste and manual entry.

Gotcha. I’ll get back with them tomorrow. Save that screenshot ~ and, thank you more than words can say. Anybody else would have just given it a miss, and I’d still be clueless. 👩❤️👩
