The textured paper gives the sketch a nice soft appearance. Nice expression.

It is a small sketch and I had trouble with the details (eyes, mouth especially). Next time I will use a full sheet! Thanks for commenting, Vivienne. 🙂

Just keep looking, making mental, or physical measurements, of what sits where: the edge of the eye, for example, to the cheek; the end of the nose to the top lip … You’re doing well. Just keep looking.
