    I didn’t realize that my favorite Brueghel painting (or Bruegel, given the change in the spelling of the name) was painted by the Elder rather than the Younger: “Landscape with the Fall of Icarus.” Clearly, family resemblance can show up in painting technique as well as in physical features.
