In the painter’s name I recognized l’occhio as the word for ‘the eye’ but the first part of the name escaped me. I found out that the Italian verb badare means ‘to look after, take care of,’ so Badalocchio could be ‘keeps an eye out [for], which isn’t at all a bad name for a painter.
I just discovered Pentatonix (I must be living on mushroom or something!), and I am looking forward to listening to much more. YES – those voices are amazing! 🙂🌺

They have incredible Christmas music! They are coming to my town next month but the tickets are so pricey. I bet they are amazing to hear in person.
