Lovely, dreamy painting and an exceptional quartet. The violins are sparkling.
I knew it was written for guitar, but when we played it in college, it was arranged for a more common quartet: violin, viola, cello, and piano. It did lose its original flavor, but we didn’t know it, of course, and still loved it.
Hmmm… Food for thought! It really would make a nice sonnet, wouldn’t it? I’m far too mentally fatigued by my ultra-brightly colored world right now to write it, but I’ll keep the idea on a back burner. 👌
