    There’s nothing like discovering the obvious. When I read your title, I thought, “Raisins?” Then, I wondered: “Could that be the word for grapes?” And here we are. Art, music, and etymology!

  4. The Christie’s site has this as “Poires et raisin” but there’s more than one grape. Other websites give the title as “Nature morte aux poires et raisins,” “Still Life with Pears and Grapes.”
