Two Dancers by Edgar Degas, c. 1893–98, , Pastel and charcoal, with stumping and burnishing, on tracing paper, pieced and laid down on cardboard, Image Source: Art Institute of Chicago
I remember clipping an illustration of this painting from a magazine while making an collection of favorite paintings for an art class project. That would have been about 1958 — I was in seventh grade.
Aww…I truly appreciate your visits, Siena Blue. Thank you! I am learning so much at your blog. You are way ahead of me on your art journey, and I have already learned much from your excellent posts. 🙂❤️

I love his work so much. I was fortunate to see several of his paintings on display in my travels. I’m not sure whether it was in London or elsewhere.
