  2. We’ve lived to see the Soviet Union collapse, which for the first half of my life seemed unlikely. (Unfortunately a dictatorship quickly came back.) Maybe now we’ll get to see Iran’s theocratic dictatorship collapse, too, and hopefully not soon come back.
