  2. I first heard Rodrigo’s famous Adagio in Mexico City in the 1970s. This arrangement with a prominent cello part is new to me.

  5. The music is wonderful! Thank you very much. But I must say, the musicians’ countenances were distracting. I haven’t ever been to a live concert that had close-up video of the performers, so maybe these are not unusual. I remember when my son was studying violin, he was taught to keep his mouth and face composed and still. I wonder if this is not a universal ideal in the music world…
